Drakensbergkloof, where your world seems to pause…
Drakensbergkloof Guest Farm and Wedding Venue is situated on the farm Doornhoek located between Memel in the Free State and Newcastle in beautiful KwaZulu-Natal. With its rich history and breath-taking scenery, Drakensbergkloof Guest Farm and Wedding Venue is the ideal wedding venue and perfect place to escape from the rush and get closer to nature. With no cellphone signal on the farm, no sounds of traffic or sirens, no dogs barking or music blaring, this is a place for families to reconnect, relax and appreciate all the plendour our beautiful country has to offer.
The farm is located at the foothills of the Drakensberg mountain range bordering KwaZulu-Natal, the Free State and Mpumalanga. Ravines, valleys, waterfalls, steep cliffs and indigenous vegetation stretch out over the more than 1,000 hectare farm, and you realise that the earth truly has music for those who listen. The farm has been in the Conradie-family since 1954. George and Gena Conradie are the second generation living on the farm, with the third generation already being an integral part of this dream. Through Drakensbergkloof Guest Farm and Wedding Venue George and Gena have opened their doors to the public to come and experience their little piece of heaven on earth.
It is here where the world seems to pause, just for a moment, and you can breathe deeper than ever before.
