    Directions to Drakensbergkloof

    ± 264km FROM JHB

    • From Johannesburg/Gauteng take the N3 to Durban. ± 3 Hours from Pretoria.
    • Before the Villiers tollgate take the alternative route – R103. Turn left at Stop and then right again at 4 way stop on R103 towards Warden, drive 60 km on this road.
    • Enroute to Warden take the Vrede turnoff to the left on the R34. Continue on this road for 14 km.
    • At Vrede, turn right on the Memel / Newcastle road – R34. Pass Memel for ±24km
    • At the D401 sign turn right (there is also a green Drakensbergkloof sign)
    • Continue ± 5km on the dirt road then turn right at a fork and cross a low water bridge (NOTE: Past this point cell phone reception is lost), follow the game fence to the farm entrance at the end of the fence.

    ±380km FROM DURBAN

    • Take N3 towards Ladysmith take N11 turn off and continue towards Newcastle.
    • At Newcastle take the first road in to town.
    • Pass through the Newcastle CBD and at the robot at McDonalds turn left on the Memel Road – the R34 and carry on for ±24km.
    • At the D401 sign turn left. (there is also a green Drakensbergkloof sign)
    • Continue ± 5km on the dirt road then turn right at a fork and cross a low water bridge (NOTE: Past this point cell phone reception is lost), follow the gamefence to the farm entrance at the end of the fence.
